My name is Michael Vanston I live with my wife Judy and three children Katherine, Aaron and Rebecca in Gembrook a semi-rural area of the city Melbourne, Australia. Our home has beautiful views across the surrounding farming districts near Gembrook.

I have been involved with home based businesses for the past 24 years with varying degrees of success. Once the Internet became popular I saw this medium as a perfect way to market my own home based business. At the time (1994) there were few web sites that offered any type of assistance in marketing or home based business promotion, so I decided to create my own. With no knowledge of cgi programming (required for form input) or web site design I taught myself the necessary skills to complete the project. There was a need for web sites that provided home based business owners with the promotional tools required to market their businesses so I was in an ideal position to supply this to the Internet community.

Now ten years later I am the proud owner of several successful Internet marketing web sites. I am not going to promote these sites to you here; it’s not the purpose of this site. I now wish to give something back. Home Based Business .pg.vu was created for the purpose of sharing free information to other business owners or those who are thinking of starting a home based business. This site will have up-to-date information, tips, suggestions and advice from other successful home based business entrepreneurs who wish to share their knowledge with others.
